I love a second chance romance and this book hit the spot perfectly.

Stacy Saunders is a career girl through and through and she won’t let nothing get in her way of reaching her goals.  A recent promotion has her travelling to a marketing convention in New Orleans. This takes her back to her younger self when she was struggling to earn a living whilst working towards that dream job. Here she is, years later having reached that dream, looking back with fondness of her time in New Orleans and her last night there with Ten.

Tennyson Landry never left New Orleans after Stacy left. He worked in bars but then turned to his own dream of painting and now finally he has his own studio which is doing great but has he missed out on love? Never having forgotten about Stacy and that passionate night the shared. Imagine his surprise to see her again and still feel that pull towards her.

They both agree to spend time catching up which in turn leads to some serious hot kisses, nights out and no longer able to fight against the one thing they had on that night….

I loved Ten from the start and it was great to have the insight to his POV and what he was feeling. He was a sensual soul you could not stop from falling for. As for Stacy, although I did like her and her strength she did frustrate me at times with her blinkered focus on her career goals. If I had a hot gorgeous man professing his all for me I’d be packing up pronto to move to New Orleans!
This was a great flirty, passionate and thought provoking read with believable connection and chemistry between the two main characters. I loved it and enjoyed it so much I went on to download the first book in the series, One Kiss, to read all about Kat and Dean. Five stars.

Things That Didn’t Make the Cut in Her Perfect Lips by Lisa Fox
Thanks so much for having me over today!
I’ve cut things out of manuscripts for millions of reason. Sometimes a scene is going on too long, sometimes I’m being too repetitive, sometimes the vibe of the words is just all wrong. I always feel better after I make a cut, it gives me the freedom to hit the reset button and find a better way.
Her Perfect Lips turned out the way it was supposed to, but just for fun, I thought I’d share some of the things that started out as good ideas, but in the end didn’t make the final cut.
Stuff That Just Didn’t Happen in Her Perfect Lips
Tennyson originally hated his name and went by his first and middle name initials, TJ. His full name is Tennyson Jackson Landry.
At first, Stacy worked at the restaurant with Ten to help pay for college, but as I thought about it more, it made her too young and messed with my overall timeline.
I wanted Ten to be from Texas, but when I heard his voice in my head, the sound wasn’t quite right. He was a snow boarder, not a cowboy. He had to be from the north.
In the spirit of New Orleans and Bourbon Street, I thought I’d give Ten and Stacy a sexy bead exchange scene, but it didn’t work out
Kat, from One Kiss, was originally going to be the one to talk with Stacy about her heartbreak. But Kat was way too harsh and not really helping Stacy with her problem. Dean stepped in and gave Stacy the comfort and confidence that she needed.
