Title: Fame and Fortune
Series: An All Cocks Story #2
Author: TM Smith

Genre: M/M/M Romance
Release Date: 29 August 2015

Synopsis
Love should be multiplied, not divided!

Victor Dimir moved to America with his traditional Romanian parents when he was just a child. His Romani parents taught him their traditions and how to be a shrewd business man, but it was the attention of a classmate at school that taught teenage Victor about his sexuality. When he came out to his parents he knew it would be difficult for them to understand, but he never expected them to disown him.

Andrew Jones grew up with a single mom and his grandmother teaching him about life, he had an absentee father at best. The only thing the man ever did for Andy that stuck was buy him a camera for his thirteenth birthday. When Andrew went off to college on a scholarship to study photo journalism, he wound up falling in love with his Romanian roommate.

They became inseparable and wound up starting their own business together: a gay porn website where people could go and watch romantic gay porn instead of the rough and tough, or wham bam thank you man crap that was flooding the internet at that time. After ten years together they were still perfectly happy, not realizing something was missing, until they met a broken young man that needed a family.

Matthew Carlson was homeless, jobless and broken. At sixteen he ran away from home after being brutally assaulted by several young men that he thought were his friends, and then being told he brought it on himself for being gay by his parents. Matthew has done a lot of things these last few years just to get by. When he finds the flyer for All Cocks, he decides to call and see where it leads. What has he got to lose?

Matthew has deep rooted scars that aren’t visible on the outside to most. But when he walks into All Cocks, both Victor and Andrew can see the darkness in his eyes; they also see him. Can three men that did not know they needed each other get past the stigma of society to find a place of happiness, together?

*Advisory warning: This story contains a scene of

This is the second book in the All Cocks series and although this can be read as standalone, I would recommend reading the first book, Gay For Pay first. Since reading the first book I have been yearning to know more about the ‘throuple’ of Victor, Andrew and Matthew. Now here is their story.

Victor and Andrew have been together for ten years, since college and have developed a strong loving relationship. They have also built up a profitable business making gay romance porn videos for their thriving online site. When they advertise via flyers for new models, young Matthew walks into their offices.

Matthew has been on the street for two years since he was sixteen, when he ran away from home after his parent’s disgust at him after he was gang raped. He did not find any love or support from them through coming to terms with his ordeal and they blamed him with his disgusting sexuality. Matthew therefore has little trust in people and he strives to get a life off the streets. When he notices the flyers advertising for models for a porn site, he sees it as his chance to make some serious money to help him do that.

The storyline then picks up of how Matthew aka Mattie learns to trust the hot older couple, Victor and Andy and in time an attraction builds. Victor and Andy notice and also develop a yearning to love and protect the younger man. The mutual attraction, love and trust eventually lead to a triad relationship.

I loved how these three characters complimented each other and fit perfectly together. With Victor the natural top, Mattie the subservient bottom (with moments of stroppiness!), Andrew was the switch that completed the love triangle. Even though Mattie was the younger by a decade or so, I liked how he was not made out to be the ‘add on’ to the relationship. This was cleverly done by the author as it would be difficult for a third person to come into an established love that Victor and Andrew had.

This story covers the background of the three and takes place before, during and after the first book which is Linc and Chris’ story. It goes through every struggle, pleasure and pain they went through to become the strong tripod that they are today. There were some serious issues covered such as gang rape and abuse but this was exceptionally well written and covered.

I must admit that Victor was my favourite with his Romanian accent and his domineering ways, I had a clear sound in my head of his voice and it was spine tingling hot! Speaking of hot, when these three got together it was smoking!

Altogether a wonderfully romantic and enthralling m/m/m read and one I would definitely recommend. Four and a half stars.

Excerpt
Exhausted, Victor decided he needed to sleep. He could think clearer after a good night of rest, so he kissed Andrew then kissed Mattie’s sweat soaked head and turned to leave the room. “Please, don’t leave. Stay with me?” Mattie’s voice sounded like the soft cry of a dying animal and it tugged on Victor’s heart strings. He stood staring down into the eyes of the man he’d loved since the night they first met, getting a smile and a nod from Andrew, he kicked off his shoes and stretched his long body out in front of Mattie.

Within minutes Mattie’s breathing evened out and he began snoring so softly, Victor thought it sounded like a cat purring. He lay there for what seemed like hours just watching Mattie sleep. His eyes darted back and forth underneath the closed lids and occasionally he would jerk or tighten his hold on Victor’s arm. He looked up and met Andrew’s piercing blue star over Mattie’s shoulder and for a brief moment, felt ashamed. What was he doing watching this young man so intently. Not only had Mattie been put through the ringer that night, but Victor was committed to his relationship with Andrew. The way he was watching Mattie spoke of things a man who already had a partner should not be thinking, or feeling.

“I know, I feel it too Vic.” Andrew said softly. He reached for Victor’s hand, twining their fingers together then resting them on Mattie’s hip. “I can’t put a name to it yet, but there is something here, something more.” His eyes strayed from Victor’s down to where Mattie lay between them sleeping. “God Vic, you know I love you more than life itself, but I’m having feelings for him that I’ve tried so hard to bury and ignore. I don’t know what to do or where we go from here, but I also don’t know how much longer I can bury these feelings.”  Andrew almost seemed sad as he spoke.

“And you should not have to Andy. I am not knowing what we are going to do either, but we must talk more and speak with Matthew as well. But that is conversation for tomorrow, now, we sleep.” Victor’s voice remained quiet and calm and in that moment Andrew knew that Victor had been experiencing the same pull to the young man that lay between them. He also knew that Victor was right. They all needed sleep. The elephant in the room would rest in the corner until the sun rose the next day.

Playlist
Every song on the playlist has meaning and relates to something in the book. Sia – Elastic Heart has to be one of my personal favorites. The song itself holds a multitude of meaning. Some say it’s a father’s heart break over his child growing up. In Fame and Fortune you could take it out of context that Mattie would have given anything to have his parents feel that way about him. The chorus of the song, Elastic Heart, it’s very much Mattie. With everything he’s been through, they still didn’t break him. He not only finds love and happiness, he thrives and grows stronger because of that love.

Rachel Platten – Fight Song. “I will scream out loud tonight, can you hear my voice alright.” Once you read the book, you’ll understand the meaning of this song. Mattie definitely still has a lot of fight left in him.

SilverSun Pickups – Lazy Eye. One of the more fun scenes when writing this book was when Victor, Andrew, Mattie and Jordan were cooking dinner. They were just hanging out in the kitchen cooking with this song playing in the background, dancing while chopping vegetables, then dancing with each other. And then it comes in again at the end of the book and holds even more meaning, building positive memories.

You should read Fame and Fortune then go listen to the playlist and see if you can place all the songs where they play into the story, it can be a fun game!
