They say there is happiness at the end of every love story, but they never truly mention the hardships it takes to get there.

With Cane, I’d been through hell and back, and now, I was going to be walking up the aisle, toward the altar, promising my life to a man that I’d gambled everything for.

Some would call me dumb.

Some would deem me insane.

Others would say I was a fool in love.

But I knew what we were, and I knew what we had was real.

With every marriage, there is always something that can hold you back or make you think twice, and this something was going to be one of our biggest wars yet, or our greatest victory ever.

*This is a novella series. You need to read the first three books :- Wanting Mr. Cane, Breaking Mr. Cane and Loving Mr. Cane

Review

Finally the happy I have been praying for but little was I prepared for the anguish I went through to get there. But it was so worth it for that ending!

Everything seems to be going strong for Kandy and Cane but then along comes a blip from his past to try and rile it all up again. The difference this time is that the couple are a strong unit now and no outside forces can push that wall of strength down. However what happens for the remainder of the book is again waiting on tenterhooks for nothing else to go wrong so we can finally see the beauty that is Mr and Mrs Cane come through when they finally make it.

What happens in this book is a big two fingers to all those who have come before and tried to tear this amazing couple down. Not only do they get their happy ending, they get their super, fantabulous ending. What an epic conclusion and one that left me with all the happy I had been waiting for throughout this series. Only problem is that it left me with a serious book hangover.

I am so going to miss this series as I have loved every low and high of it that it has put me through. But I wouldn’t have missed it for the World! I definitely highly recommend if you love age gap romance with a strong alpha hero and a sassy woman firmly at his side fighting through high level drama but with tremendous depth, full of passion and love. Sigh. Five Stars!
