This is the third book in the Men of Inked series which is about the sexy brothers of the Gallo family. In this novella we catch up with City (Joseph) and Suzy whose story was told in the first book of the series Throttle Me.

The story starts in the lead up a few weeks before their wedding, so there is all the preparations going on, as well as the parties for both that signifies the end of their single days. As such there is some tension and testing of their devotion to each other. Neither of them wants a party but with Izzy in charge they can do little else but follow ‘tradition’ as instructed. This is where a true test is thrown in when City sees something which makes him act on it but could throw all the carefully laid plans right out of the window.

I loved this catch up with the Gallo family and the interactions between them all. It was fabulous to have a focus back on City and Suzy though and to see that even after witnessing their HEA in Throttle Me, they still have some moments of angst that they need to iron out. I love City with his outgoing tough exterior and how he is brought to his knees with his sweet and sensitive side whenever Suzy is near. It was so heart squeezing to read their love story and the way they did all the normal things couples do that just made them more relatable to the reader. But that is not to say this was a sugar induced love tale, oh no, not at all, after all this is City and Suzy – the sexy times were off the charts hot. I especially loved the ‘sneaking off for a quickie’ whilst all the family were at their home for Thanksgiving. Typical of this zealous for each other couple! Fab!

I liked that this story brought forth the love action for Izzy as her book is up next – Resist Me. That is going to be littered with fireworks with Izzy involved. It will be good to see if this man can handle her. I think he will!

Again Chelle has delivered another brilliant addition to the series and it great that she wrote this especially for the fans of City and Suzy’s story. We just can’t get enough!

This was an amazing story of love, family and togetherness, a book that leaves you with a happy heart and a yearning for more. Brilliant. Five stars.
