Review
Set in London, England this is a romantic suspense that had
a unique feel that drew me into the storyline.
Tess is stuck in a rut of her boring job and life but is
suddenly thrust in the throes of suspense when a handsome stranger dives into
the back seat of her car and instructs her to get him to the airport. From then
on it is one mind boggling journey I was taken on as with Tess being unaware (at
first) she was in the midst of a secret investigation that Liam (the stranger)
was heading up, trying to stop a terrorist.
This was, as I say, a unique storyline with a little bit of
lust, suspense and comedy. The romance was a little too insta-love for my personal
taste but none the less it was an engaging read. It was a quick, short and
punchy story that I read in one sitting.
This is a new author to me and I believe one who has usually
written for the paranormal genre so I guess this is a new foray into romantic
suspense.
It was a fun filled and eventful book with a delightful
mixture of suspense and hotness. Overall a three and half stars read for me.
