I have put a lot of time and effort into presenting this story as true to fact as possible, without going into gory or gruesome detail. If this subject is a trigger for you, you may want to skip this read. But my hope is that you give Beau a chance to capture your heart as he has mine, and William’s.

I was eagerly awaiting for this fifth book in the All Cocks series and Live for Love certainly delivered.
Beauregard Boudreaux (love the name!) AKA Beau, has carved a
life for himself in New York with a successful bar but also running an LGBT centre
for a close knit band of teenagers. He holds a law degree which helps him to
help others. But Beau is holding back a whole lot of pain from the past after
the death of his husband fifteen years previous. He pushes away from
forming any new relationship but when William walked into his bar and made his
attraction known there was no stopping this freight train of lust from
exploding!
William Richards on the other hand has lead a life of love
and happiness with his family firmly accepting of his sexuality, he has been a
successful model and now porn star. He has travelled the World but is now firmly established back in New York and although he has plenty of friends he
has become lonely of late and is yearning someone close. When he first sets
eyes on Beau he knew he had to have this man.
I was so happy when I knew these two hot macho men were
going to be getting it on and I was even more so when I found out there was a
bit of an age gap as I love age gap romance. It wasn’t a big gap though, only
by ten years or so but whoot, these two were scorching!
It wasn’t all happy going though as Beau had a lot of the
past to come to terms with and then he needed to reveal his secret to William
which he was scared to do as once he had let him in, he didn’t want to lose
him. Oh but this is big lovable William we are talking about, he was made for loving and to love!
The storyline touches on the serious subject of AIDS and HIV
but is a great educator for which the author has done some excellent research.
However
it wasn’t all doom and darkness, it clarifies how a couple could overcome the
barriers this may have brought forth and how they worked through them.
This was a hot, passionate but romantic and poignant tale of
love, family and trust. I really loved it and would definitely recommend this
book and the series if you have not already dived in. Four and a half stars.
Q and A with the Author
Where are you from, and where do you call home?
I was born in Columbus Georgia just outside of Ft. Benning, an army brat. I lived there until I was 24 when I moved to Texas with my then husband, and I’ve lived in Texas ever since.
What inspired you to start writing?
It’s hard to say. I love to read, in 2010 I started writing reviews for books I’d read and a couple of Authors made the comment that my reviews were so well written and detailed I should consider writing my own book. So I did.
How long have you been writing?
Since 2012, so 4 years now.
What advice would you give a new writer just starting out?
Perseverance. You have to want this if you want to succeed. Writer’s block? Push through, even if it’s all shit and you delete 90% of it, write it regardless. You have to have thick skin. For every person that loves your work, there is another that hates it and it’s usually the haters that tear you apart in a “review”. I use quotations because it’s also usually anything but a review. You have to let it go, like water off a ducks back, and move on. And lastly, never engage the crazy. If you respond to a negative review in kind, people will come out of the woodwork to go off on you. Remember the reason you are writing in the first place, because you want to, because you have a story to tell and tell that story. You can’t please everyone but if YOU are happy with the story, that is what matters most.
