Review
This is the seventh book in the All Cocks series and I think this is my favourite of them all. Second chance at love, older dudes, kind of insta lust but leading to forever love – oh yes it had all the right elements for me to fall for these two guys.
Dean is the father of Dusty (one of the mcs of the previous book) and Adam is gorgeous Beau’s doctor. Both were introduced in book six and it was hinted at them being caught in clinches so I was dying to find out all about what they were up to. Hot stuff is what! These two were certainly passionate about each other and the intensity between them was scorching. The chemistry was so tangible it was heating up the kindle. I loved that they were older and wiser (mostly!) and they didn’t pertain to all that unnecessary angst and uncertainty. They knew what they wanted and they just went for it.
Both had been married before, Adam to his college sweetheart who had sadly died after a decade together and Dean had been married to Maggie for thirty-ish years or so. Dean had always known he was attracted to both sexes so there was no soul searching or any question of a GFY scenario.
This book brought all the characters from the previous books together, more so than the mentions in previous books so if you have not read any of the series to date you will certainly be lost. Even I was at times and had to pause and work out in my head who was with who and what their story was. To be fair though the author does reiterate these to ease the storyline.
Although the romance element was angst free and a smooth (and steamy!) journey the backstory was deep and at one part so heart wrenching it had me in bits. However through the tragedy comes hope and a wonderful happy ever after. I so love this series and the characters that I actually feel a part of the family. So rewarding and enriching to read, I always leave the books with that warm and cherished feeling. A fabulous addition to the series and one definitely not to be missed. Five stars.
