Title: The Master Will Appear
Author: LA Witt
Genre: M/M BDSM Romance
Release Date: Available Now
Blurb
Dr. Mikhail “Misha” Budnikov takes one look at fellow fencer Ryan O’Connor and instantly knows his type. The undisciplined hothead is all ego with no finesse and even less control. In short, Misha’s pet peeves personified. To put the arrogant kid in check, Misha challenges him to a sparring match, which he predictably wins.
Not so predictably, Ryan asks him to be a mentor and show him how to fence. Startled by the moment of humility, Misha agrees.
What begins as fencing lessons becomes something much hotter, and before they know it, Misha is giving Ryan an entirely different kind of education. Dominance, submission, pain, pleasure—at the hands of an older, experienced man, a whole new world is opening up for Ryan.
As the trust deepens and their bond strengthens, though, Ryan retreats because that sham called love left him jaded long ago. Cynical beyond his years, he’s not letting his guard down, least of all for a thrice-divorced man twice his age.
Now Misha has to find a way to crack through those defenses…or accept defeat and walk away from the submissive who might just be the love of his life.

Review
It has been a while since I picked up a LA Witt book and I
don’t know why. I’ve always liked her books in the past so my bad for waiting
so long. As soon as I saw this was an age gap romance though and it had a
Mikhail (so hot Russian maybe?) in it I just had to read this. So glad I did. I
loved it!
Ryan is a 26 year old history student who comes from a well
off family so at first he comes across as an entitled knob. However the more
you read about Ryan the more layers are unravelled and like an onion you get to
that part that just gets you all teary eyed. I so fell for this man. When he is
challenged to a fencing match against an old pro, he revels in the chance. When
he is extremely humiliated he looks to the hot older guy and asks him to coach
him to be a better player. Who know where this would all lead!
Mikhail is a thrice divorced 45 year old Dom, who relishes
on the thought of taking this young wannabe fencer with his aggressive play,
down a peg or two. When the cocky guy asks him to show him how to improve, he
finds himself saying yes. The more they spend time together fencing, a sultry
dance of lust begins from the depth of their initial dislike of each other. When
Mikhail starts to see the submissive tendencies from Ryan, he starts to wonder ‘What
if?’ Then a hot interaction in the
locker room catapults the change in their relationship to that of so much more.
Age gap romance is one of my most favourite tropes and here
it was done brilliantly. I loved that Ryan was the one with his jaded views
when the assumption was that it would be Misha after his three divorces. I also loved that Misha had that super sexy
accent and when in the throes of passion he succumbed to his native tongue.
HOT!
I’m not a big fan of BDSM, especially the hardcore and
overly brutal type, but this was just at that level that made it show the kink
but still in a more romantic way if that even makes sense? When the part about
the gangbang takes place I was scratching my head thinking what the hell? But then
reading further on this was to be the catapult that exploded the turn in the
road for the pairing.
This was one of those books that I just had to sit and read
and not break off from. It was super sexy, deeply emotional but also one hell
of a drama. I loved every minute of it and it was right up my street. I shall
never look at Lego in the same light again though. Ouch! Five stars.

Author Bio
L.A. Witt is an abnormal M/M romance writer who has finally been released from the purgatorial corn maze of Omaha, Nebraska, and now spends her time on the southwestern coast of Spain. In between wondering how she didn’t lose her mind in Omaha, she explores the country with her husband, several clairvoyant hamsters, and an ever-growing herd of rabid plot bunnies. She also has substantially more time on her hands these days, as she has recruited a small army of mercenaries to search South America for her nemesis, romance author Lauren Gallagher, but don’t tell Lauren. And definitely don’t tell Lori A. Witt or Ann Gallagher. Neither of those twits can keep their mouths shut…
