Blog Tour and Review | King of Wall Street by Louise Bay | #NEW #Erotic #Boss #HOT #Review #MustRead #Contemporary @LouiseBay

Title: King of Wall Street

Author: Louise Bay

Genre: Erotic Contemporary Romance

Release Date: 22 August 2016

I keep my two worlds separate.

At work, I’m King of Wall Street. The heaviest hitters in Manhattan come to me to make money. They do whatever I say because I’m always right. I’m shrewd. Exacting. Some say ruthless.

At home, I’m a single dad trying to keep his fourteen year old daughter a kid for as long as possible. If my daughter does what I say, somewhere there’s a snowball surviving in hell. And nothing I say is ever right.

When Harper Jayne starts as a junior researcher at my firm, the barriers between my worlds begin to dissolve. She’s the most infuriating woman I’ve ever worked with.

I don’t like the way she bends over the photocopier—it makes my mouth water.

I hate the way she’s so eager to do a good job—it makes my dick twitch.

And I can’t stand the way she wears her hair up exposing her long neck. It makes me want to strip her naked, bend her over my desk and trail my tongue all over her body.

If my two worlds are going to collide, Harper Jayne will have to learn that I don't just rule the boardroom. I’m in charge of the bedroom, too.

One of my new favourite authors, Louise Bay knows how to write a sexy alpha and Max King definitely is one.

Harper Jayne has always held a dream to work for Max King and she has finally achieved that working as a junior researcher. She is out to prove she can achieve the career she has always wanted and especially without her absent father’s help. Yes Harper has issues with her father, a man who was never there for her growing up so why does she need to know him now?

Max King is an enigma, on the outside he is the king of cool and his standoffish demeanour hides the proud and lovable father he is in his private life. After an accidental pregnancy with his best friend at college, he is now the proud father of Amanda. Now he is looking after his teenager Amanda who lives with him, after her Mother has temporarily moved abroad with her new husband. As amicable as Max is with Amanda’s mother, he has shied away from any relationship since, he keeps his hook ups far away from his business life and especially his private life with his daughter. But then along comes Harper, the new girl in his office who he cannot stop thinking about. To detract from his attraction to her, he ignores her.

Harper finds it hard to do anything to get praise from Max but then when they start working closer together this attraction cannot be denied, even more so when Harper finds out he stays in a condo in her block through the working week. Trying to keep a distance proves to be the pinnacle that brings these two together, initially as a one off hell of a hot night together. But then things get a little more intense.

This was one hot erotic read as I have come to expect from Louise Bay. Max King was absolutely stunning and a joy to read and devour. Harper was also immensely likeable and I was on her side from the start. It was great to get to dig deep into each character and find out their insecurities and what makes them tick (mostly each other!) The way that Max struggles when his two worlds of business and personal collide was absorbing to see unfurl and how he brought them both together. I also loved his support of Harper and her struggles with her father, who also happens to be Max’s hero in the business world.

This was a well-constructed, fast paced storyline full of passion, deep attraction and chemistry. One definitely not to be missed. Fall in love with the King. You will not be disappointed! 4.5 stars.
