Review
| The second book in the Sugar Bowl trilogy, Sugar Rush starts off immediately where Sugar Daddy ended on that humongous cliffhanger of an ending. It is hard to write a review without giving away huge spoilers so suffice to say, the truth is outed and Beck is let in on what happened in Sela’s past and how it involves his one-time best friend and current co owning business partner. This book takes a bit more of a sinister turn and with an underground source brought in by Becks to do some of the dirty work it again had me on tenterhooks and not wanting the book to end. There was one part where I was shouting at Sela not to do it as I do at those horror movies where the stupid woman goes out on her own when you can see this isn’t going to end well. We also continued with the hottest sex scenes between Sela and Beck as these two are smoking between the sheets. There was also plenty of angst and yearning at the beginning which I was hoping would have dragged out a little bit more but I guess that wouldn’t be within keeping of this fast paced, highly enticing read. Just when you think things are picking up to be resolved and the douche that is JT will get his comeuppance, we end on another jaw dropping cliff hanger. I really wished I could have buddy read this as there are so many questions and theories I have turning around in my head, I just need someone to talk it out with. The suspense and drama was intense and atmospheric, I was hooked! This is definitely, hands down one of the best series I have read in a long time and I cannot recommend it any higher that I already do. Waiting on the next book Sugar Free is already proving to be hard to do (I am so impatient) but I just cannot hold back the excitement of finding out what happens next!
