Series: Crimson Outlaws MC #1
Part 1 of Duology
Genre: MC Romance
Author: Bink Cummings
Released: 7 December 2016
On the outside my life seems simple. I'm an average woman with a love for motorcycles. A high school teacher who's a single mother. But what you don't know is what lingers just beneath the surface...
This hunger that can never be fully satiated.
Part of me knows it's bad. That I shouldn't crave what I do. But the other half doesn't give a fu*k.
I'm split in two. Which is how I've spent most of my life.
Torn in half by conflicting emotions. By the man I desire, but shouldn't. By the secrets that I hide from almost everyone.
One day, everything changes...
My world is turned upside down and I'm left falling...
Falling toward something special.
Toward a sense of belonging that I find in the strangest of places. With someone I never thought I'd be with in my wildest dreams.
I'm Gwen Donovan and this is my journey to love and self acceptance.
Let's just hope, that in the end, it doesn't bite me in the ass.
Warning: Contains shameless adult sexual content, taboo situations, graphic violence, profanity that'd make your grandmother blush, a woman who has multiple orgasms, a vast array of possible triggers including past sexual assault so expect anything. And whatever the hell else that makes it unsuitable for folks under the age of 18.
This is NOT a Standalone.
Part 1 of a Duology.
The first part of a duology, Nowhere takes you everywhere. This book has everything thrown in from stepbrother romance to BDSM to MC to alpha billionaire, it was an explosive mosh pit of lust, passion and love.
Gwen went through a deep trauma as a young teen but with the help of her family and stepbrother Nash, she has pulled herself through. She brought up her daughter and now earns her living as a respectable teacher. But Gwen has needs, deep, dark needs. She has a turmoil when her inner kink for dark lust conflicts with her outer persona of the do-gooder.
This was an eye opener from the start where the first chapter was hotter than Hades! I started reading it whilst on the train but once I started I thought it best to read when I got home to read in private. This had me getting more flushed the more I read it!
Now I’m not a fan of stepbrother romance (and for the most part in this book the storyline takes another route) but once I met Nash and understood how they met, it didn’t get me all eye rolling like I would normally. No, Nash was swoon worthy and all bad ass with his swagger and that man bun. How could anyone resist? But there was more hotness overload to follow, in the shape of self-confessed man-whore, Wes.
Wes wasn’t your typical alpha billionaire type. Oh he had the looks, the money and all the trappings but he was also hiding his heart. After losing a bet with him on the racing circuit, Gwen soon finds out and then her perception of him totally changes. Their meeting and arrangement also give her space away from Nash and his recent cold attitude towards her.
It’s hard to surmise the storyline without giving it all away but suffice to say this is one hell of a hot read. The reader is taken on a wild ride that gives no indication of where it is taking you or what will happen next. As it is the first part of a duology be prepared for the abrupt ending though. Knowing this author though she won’t leave it hanging for too long.
Overall a hot and tangible story with plenty of passion and lust that took me on that wild side of kink. One thing that did irk me and has in other books is the taking to the reader. I prefer to stay lost in the world building and not keep being reminded I’m reading a book. Yes I know I am weird but other than that, no complaints here. Four and a half stars!
