Nerdy, introverted genius lepidopterist, Lawson Gale, is an expert on butterflies. He finds himself in a small town in Tasmania on a quest from an old professor to find an elusive species that may or may not even exist.
Local Parks and Wildlife officer, Jack Brighton, is an ordinary guy who loves his life in the sleepy town of Scottsdale. Along with his Border collie dog, Rosemary, his job, and good friends, he has enough to keep from being lonely.
But then he meets Lawson, and he knows he’s met someone special. There’s more to catching butterflies, Jack realises. Sometimes the most elusive creatures wear bowties, and sometimes they can’t be caught at all.
Lawson soon learns there are butterflies he can’t learn about it in books. They exist only in a touch, in a kiss, in a smile. He just has to let go first, so these butterflies can fly.
Imago is the story of finding love, bowties, and butterflies.

Review
This is an absolute gem of a read, a gorgeous sweet tale of
two opposites attract with no need for any angst or high drama. From start to
end there was a smile on my face and a swoon in my heart.
Lawson is on his way to Tasmania from Melbourne to makes
some studies in his role as an up and coming lead lepidopterist (butterfly know
all) but he finds himself getting more irritated and flustered by the hulk of a
man sat aside him on the plane journey. Imagine his further irritation when the
same man becomes his knight in shining armour when his rental car does not
transpire.
Jack is on his way back from Melbourne to his home in
Tasmania where he is a park and wildlife ranger. He is intrigued by the stick
up the butt but cute geeky guy on the plane who seems to have taken umbrage with
Jack for some reason. All the more reason to push further when he offers his
services as a ride when they land.
These two were so sweet and cute together but don’t get me
wrong there was plenty of hot action between the sheets (or on the grass) they
had going on too. The connection and intensity between them was passionate and
romantic. They gave each other flowers! Aww. What I liked about more was that
they each had hidden depths so Lawson wasn’t your average geeky shy guy. Oh no
he knew what he wanted and he wasn’t scared to let Jack know. As for Jack,
sigh, oh he was divine and a true hero.
I loved the small town feel and the host of secondary
characters that drew the story into a lovable bundle of joy to read, as the
back drop to this beautiful and dynamic romance. From the cover to the blurb to
well everything, it was a must read and a not put down until done so kind of
read. All this from somebody who cannot stand butterflies – I just turned my
inner fear around to respect these fluttery creatures. All through the eyes of
Lawson and Jack. Wonderful story. Highly recommend. Five stars.

Author Bio
N.R. Walker is an Australian author, who loves her genre of gay romance. She loves writing and spends far too much time doing it, but wouldn't have it any other way.
She is many things; a mother, a wife, a sister, a writer. She has pretty, pretty boys who she gives them life with words.
She likes it when they do dirty, dirty things...but likes it even more when they fall in love. She used to think having people in her head talking to her was weird, until one day she happened across other writers who told her it was normal.
She’s been writing ever since...
