Blurb
Unprepared, ill-equipped, and with no example to look back on, Ty and Chase embarked on a journey to build a family for Ava and Luc that would far exceed anything they dreamed of for themselves. Two years later, they’ve succeeded beyond their wildest expectations, but there’s still a couple of things missing…and they’re ready to make them happen.

Bad boy biker Trick wouldn’t hesitate to fight for those he loves, but Ty knows it will take more than violence to win this war. Willfully submissive Chase has the utmost faith in his Master, but when he sees Ty struggling with demons from his past, it will be his quiet, unbending support that will see them through. Jumping through the loopholes of family court, they are only one event shy of making it all official and neither are willing to wait another second to check it off the list.

Clearing the path for adoption should reassure them, but it will take their cast of well-meaning friends and the occasional slap upside the head before they realize that the ties that bind them together are forged in a love that can never be taken away.

Review
This is the third book (novella) in the Devils Pride MC and cannot be read as a standalone.
Ty and Chase have come down a long, dark and twisting path to get where they are today. Their family with Ava and Luc is happy and content but just something missing to complete them. An adoption and a wedding.
This was so far away from the other books in the series that are dark and intense. Although this does have a couple of intense moments (how could it not with Ty in the picture) but it is a much more light hearted but heart stopping emotive read. Can I even say sweet in some parts? Yes I think I can.
For fan and lovers of the series this is one not to be missed and kind of like a long epilogue that was so much needed and so wonderful to see how far this hot D/s couple have come. The wedding was so gorgeous and something I knew Ty would pull for his Chase. As for the adoption? Aww that had me teary eyed. A definite must read for the fans. Four stars.

“You sure do throw a helluva party.” Mateo approached him, his gaze friendly, if a little cautious.
They couldn’t be more different, but he genuinely liked the other man and Chase hoped they could become friends. For some people, that was easier said than done and Mateo was one of them. He didn’t know how to be friends just because you liked someone, but he was working on it and Chase was happy to encourage him. “Thanks, man. I’m really glad you could come.”
“Aw, well, sure, it’s a big deal becoming a dad, isn’t it?” Mateo peered at him quickly, then looked away, his gaze seeming to land on Carlos’ girls. “You guys are totally gonna rock it.”
“You think so?” Chase privately thought they already were, but he appreciated the sentiment. “What about you? Being the boyfriend of a man with grown kids can’t be easy.”
Mateo shrugged. “Honestly, they make it really easy and, if we get that far, they won’t need me the way the twins need you.”
Having seen Mateo with Claudia, Camila, and Jorge, Chase would disagree. They were the type that, when they got that far, they would treat Mateo as a parent. It might not be the same as the way Ava and Luc needed them, but it would come with love, respect, and no small amount of obligation. Chase didn’t say that though. No reason to scare the guy just yet.
Carlos called Mateo away, but before he could take two steps, Davin was there to offer his well wishes. “Fatherhood looks good on you.”
Chase preened dramatically. “Are you saying I’m glowing?”
“It certainly appears that way,” Red said as he joined them with Javier and Kyle in tow. “It’s a very attractive look for you.”
“Definitely couldn’t have happened to a nicer couple,” Javier put in with a smile. He even leaned in for a hug like it was the most natural thing in the world. They’d all come so far, but Javier…he remained such an inspiration and the strides he was constantly showing pushed them all to be better.

Meet The Author
Like many readers, the dream of being a writer has been with me a long time. After three decades of trying, I'd begun to doubt. Thanks to social media, I followed my favorite authors hoping to glean some words of wisdom as I pounded out half-formed ideas with alarming regularity.

Two repetitive themes emerged: to be a great writer you must read a lot and your butt must be in the chair every day like it's a job. The more you write, the easier it will be to write and the better you will be at writing. I took that advice to heart and write every day. With three series in the works and a full schedule of releases planned for the next two years, it's been amazing to have made this dream my reality.

I am a firm believer in marriage equality, love at first sight, power dynamics, and happily ever after. I'm a lover of strong secondary characters, and series filled with families—biological or chosen. All are themes you'll find throughout my books.
