Blurb
He was the myth and the legend of our small town. But no one
knew the truth... except me.
Me
My childhood was stolen by a monster. I’ve forgotten what
love feels like. What happiness feels like. What hope feels like. I am numb.
Him
He’s possibly as damaged as I am. Maybe even more. Scarred
just as much on the inside as the outside. Just like me. He doesn’t speak. He doesn’t smile. He hides in the woods like an animal. I should be scared of him. But I’m not. He’s the only one that has ever made me feel. And I want to make him feel, too.
Everything...
Review
Tied
is the second book in the Devils Wolves series but can be read as a
stand alone book.
This
was a very emotive and heart wrenching story of two broken souls that
fate has brought together and entwined their lives forever. It is
hard to write a review without giving out spoilers but suffice to say
this book will resonate with me for a long, long time.
Holly
is coming to terms with an horrific nightmare she was dragged into at
such a young age. Now free, she is still a prisoner to her fears and
the whispers of society. She searches for her prince who is the only
one she has ever felt safe with and her barkless dog Poppy. In her
dreams she waits for him to return but finally builds up her courage
to go searching. Once she finds what she is looking for it is the
start to the promise of a new life.
Tyler
also has demons from the past that has lead to his self served
banishment from society. He lives out in the woods alone with only
Boomer, his fox for company. He stays away from his loving family of
brothers, feeling not worthy of their love and security after taking
so much away from them. It is also the stares from strangers who see
him as a freak and mentally unstable. Just how little do they know
the strength and pain this gorgeous man was hiding.
This
was a meeting of two broken souls, shunned by society, damaged and
broken but together they become the strength that the other needs to
push through their fears and learn to love and smile again.
The
storyline does touch on some extreme violent behaviour and may hold
triggers but it is wonderfully written and one not to be missed. Five
stars.

Author Bio
I have a passion for the bad boys, those covered in tattoos, sexy smirks, ripped jeans, fast cars, motorcycles and of course, the sweet girls that try to tame them and win their hearts. My debut series, Ashes & Embers, follows the lives of rock band members as they find, and sometimes lose, the loves of their lives.
Born and raised a Jersey girl, I now reside in beautiful New Hampshire with my husband and our multitude of furry pets and spend most of my time writing, reading, and vacuuming.
