A very warm welcome to Kerry Taylor to the blog today.
Author Bio:-
I am a mother, entrepreneur, IT engineer, poet and foremost a woman. I say this because, at times, we as mothers forget we are individuals too. We hide under motherhood to excuse and justify our movements in life.
I have three children aged from 17 to 1 years old and they keep me on my toes 24/7! They are the biggest aspect of my life. They keep me thinking of new adventures all the time and sometimes they stop me taking some of them too. I am known to be rather wild at times. A special quote from my 17 year old the other day whilst picking on his younger brother, I pointed out that they have all come from the same stomach, so he should not act like he is the superior one. His reply? "That's the problem Mother, we came from somewhere far worse than your stomach!"

FBR: Thanks for visiting Foxylutely Kerry :) nice to get to know you. I hope you won't mind a few Q and A?
KT: Thank you for the invite and no, please ask away.
FBR: Can you give a little background about your writing and how you came to be a writer?
KT: I have written poetry since I was a child. I read the story about Amanda Hocking and after years of being rejected by publicists, I tried the self-publishing route. I started experimenting with different genres and what better genre to start with than romantic comedy? Everyone says I am a joker!
FBR: What is it about romance that keeps you writing about it?
KT: A perfect world which is so far from what I live in, I sit back and write about sad things with happy endings.
FBR: Yes we all love a good HEA!
FBR: OK so let's talk about covers - money is no object and you can have any cover guy you want! Who would you pick?
KT: A difficult question. I have no idea. I love Melody who does all my book covers. She is fantastic!
FBR: Yes Melody does do great covers - so vibrant and eye catching.
FBR: Where do you get your inspiration from for your storylines?
KT: My past and present experiences. Children, family, friends, everywhere and anywhere. Something happens and I think "That is funny!" then as I start to write I find the perfect place to put it.
FBR: Which authors do you read? Any favourites?
KT: Different authors, depends on my mood. Jackie Collins and Nicholas Sparks for romance. Maya Angelou and Iylana Vanzant for inspiration. In a serious mood Harper Lee, Stephen King and many more!
FBR: Well done on being able to note some of your favorites - my list would keep getting add -ons!
FBR: Anything you would like to share with your readers?
KT: When I was 20 I used to look forward to being 40, thinking I would be settled - I would know what I want in life and have a man by my side helping me along the way. Now I am approaching 40, everything was getting darker and obtuse until I started writing. Expressing myself on paper has been a real turning point for me. It is tiring and very stressful but it really has been the one thing that has really turned my life at the moment. I have a direction I never dreamt was possible.
FBR: WOW that is so insightful, thanks for sharing Kerry.
