They say good things come in little packages and this beautifully written sexy novella certainly fits the bill.

Lucas Reika is a superhot but spoilt young man. After one too many indiscretions his father sends him to stay at Jared McFarland’s Farm hoping that the hardworking, sturdy and loyal farmer will instil some of his values and qualities on his wayward son.

At first Lucas appears an unlikable and selfish character but after his misgivings are understood and the reader gains an insight into his outward behaviours, he really became likeable, if not lovable.

Jared was a sweet and cuddly ginger bear who was so accepting and welcoming, I just wanted to squishy kiss all over his face. What a sweet and huggable man. I fell for him from the onset. But what I loved most is how he turned out to be so dominant and alpha between the sheets. You go get that man and show him who is boss Jared!

Lucas and Jared made a sweet coupling though and endeared them to the reader’s heart. They brought out the best and actually complimented each other.

I loved this storyline and I am happy to see it is the start of a series – Hope. I HOPE (!) to see more of these delicious and altogether addictive characters. This novella gave a whole bite size of steamy lusciousness that left me begging for more. Five stars!

Cardeno C. - CC to friends - is a hopeless romantic who wants to add a lot of happiness and a few "awwws" into a reader's day. Writing is a nice break from real life as a corporate type and volunteer work with gay rights organizations. Cardeno's stories range from sweet to intense, contemporary to paranormal, long to short, but they always include strong relationships and walks into the happily-ever-after sunset.
