It describes the life and actions of an outlaw motorcycle club. HEA. No cliffhangers! The book is intended for readers over the age of 18.
Although this is the fourth book in the Insurgents MC, each
book can be read as standalones. This is my first read of this series and I found
it easy to drop into and understand the feel of the MC.
Axe and Baylee meet at a wedding and hook up for a one night
stand with no intentions to stay in touch, but then when her job takes her to
Pinewood Springs and she comes face to face with the sexy one nighter who she
has been unable to get out of her head. Little does she know it was the same
for Axe.
Although Baylee tries
to stay professional on overseeing the new construction for the MC, she can’t
ignore Axe for long and even though Axe starts to get all alpha and controlling
on her, she finds him all too irresistible to continue to fight his intentions.
However there is danger on the horizon and Baylee finds herself being stalked
by the past. Who is out to kill her?
This was a quick and sexy read with the element of suspense
thrown in, which at times I found a little hard to believe but it made for a
balanced read of sexiness, grit and suspense.
The characters were likable and easy to grasp the chemistry
between them. I also liked the secondary characters of the MC, so would be good
to go back and read the other books in the series.
