This is the third book in the Roughnecks series and this is
Lance and Ace’s story. Each book is vaguely connected through the heroes who
work the oil rigs.
I think this is my favourite of the series as I, along with many
other women will resonate with Ace and her lack of confidence in herself,
believing in the hype around body image and the ‘beautiful’ people. Whereas in
fact Ace (Candace) is a beautiful and strong woman who has let others push
their negative and egotistical views onto her leading to her feeling insecure
and unloved. All it took was one man oozing with self-confidence and assurance to
show Ace that she was valued and loved.
I loved Lance AKA Rush with his confident attitude, he is
one sexy man with a strength of character. Never one to be swayed by others or
follow the crowd, he is one alpha of a man who is the whole package. Oh and he
can handle a revving machine between his legs and do tricks with it!
It was great to see how patient Lance was with Ace and how
he gradually knocked down the doubting walls she held around her to finally
uncover the gorgeous woman she absolutely is.
A great series that has covered some thought provoking
background stories, in amongst some hot sexy romance. Lance is a sexy and satisfying
read. Four stars.

About the Author
Chelsea Camaron was born and raised in Coastal North Carolina. She currently resides in Southern Louisiana with her husband and two children but her heart is always Carolina day dreaming.
Chelsea always wanted to be a writer, but like most of us, let fear of the unknown grab a hold of her dream. She realized that if she was going to tell her daughter to go for her dreams, that it was time to follow her own advice.
Chelsea grew up turning wrenches alongside her father, and from that grew her love for old muscle cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles, which just so happened to inspire the Love and Repair and Hellions Ride series.
When she is not spending her days writing you can find her playing with her kids, attending car shows, going on motorcycle rides on
the back of her husband’s Harley, snuggling down with her new favorite book or watching any movie that Vin Diesel might happen to be in.
