This is the second book in the MC Chronicles and just as the
first book did, it totally and utterly captivated me. Bink is now living in
Chicago away from her MC ‘family’ and Big. But hang on to your cut readers as
Bink is hiding one mahoosive secret.
Just wait when Big finds out. Fireworks!
Bink, again, takes the reader on a tremendous and emotive ride.
At first the kick-ass Bink we all know and love seems to have shifted to an all
the more sedate Eva, living with sweet and adoring Marshall. WTF you say? Well
that’s what I said anyway but I kind of felt an attachment to him, it was
endearing seeing how he took care of our Bink. But then Gunz turns up and he
starts goading and getting under Bink’s new calm persona. That guy just knows
how to get the reactions he wants. Love him! Just when Bink thinks she has her
new life all planned out something crops up that finds her back in the MC world
and introducing Marshall to her other but true life. Oh boy I was holding my
hands over my eyes waiting for that play to go down. Poor Marshall – well that was until
he gets all starry eyed with Bink’s biatch of a mother and sister and then I
was giving him the evils through the kindle. Gah!
But whilst all that was going down Bink comes face to face
with Big again and this time he has Marylou. Oh the angst and the pain that
intercepted every page with both Bink and Big playing the volatile relationship
they have throughout. Tit for tat, kiss for …erm BJ. Big just wants his cake
and to eat it but Bink won’t let the sexy alpha mo-fo have his way. She easily
plays him at his own game. Both dishing out the hurts and one upmanship but
both suffering in silence. Until Big seems to have some kind of revelation and
the ‘will they, wont they’ dance these pair love to step to (both figuratively and
literally) moves the heart stopping, flip flopping, sah-wooning romance back in
line. Absolutely amazing! I love, love, loved this book!
Just when you think you have everything figured out and
things are moving just how you want them to, another curve-ball is thrown in,
giving the reader some more pause for thought.
This book (and series) is a definite MUST read for those who
love their MC romances on the hardcore, angsty side but also brilliantly
sizzling with sex and heart wrenchingly love torn. Another exceptional instalment
delivered by Bink Cummings. Five BIG DICKING stars!
