New MC Coming Soon! | Jerry's Passion by Chiah Wilder | #CoverReveal #MC #Series #Standalone

Title: Jerry's Passion
Series: Insurgents Motorcycle Club
Author: Chiah Wilder
Genre: MC Romance
Release Date: June 23, 2016

The first time Jerry saw Kylie, he was taken by her beauty and innocence, but he stayed away because she was too young. A member of the Insurgents MC, Jerry’s life revolves around the club, his Harley, and easy sex. Women clamor for the rugged, tatted outlaw’s attention, and he obliges, but his sights are set on the pretty, young blonde who is all grown up now—sweet curves and all….

Kylie fills his thoughts, and he dreams of his fingers tangling in her glossy hair, her legs wrapping tightly around his waist, her full lips quivering as she comes.

Only problem is he can’t have her.

But… he can’t stop himself from craving her, and if he acts, it’ll surely cost him everything.

His resistance is waning….

Kylie McDaniels is the pretty daughter of Banger—President of the Insurgents MC. She grew up in the outlaw biker world, but her father shielded her from the dark side of it, and she still has an innocence he prefers she keep. Banger is very protective of his daughter, and he’s made up his mind that she won’t fall in love with a biker, especially Jerry.

She’d listen to her father, but the hot, muscular biker makes her want to do some not so innocent things.

Her insides melt, and her brain turns to mush whenever he looks at her with his hungry, brown eyes.

Damn. Why does he have to be so sexy?

As Kylie maneuvers her budding sexuality and attraction to Jerry while trying to stay on the good side of her dad, someone is out there watching her, waiting to make his move. He’s come for retribution, and Kylie is the pawn in his scheme. Will Jerry be able to stop the madman before he strikes?

Can their forbidden love survive the chaos of the world around them?

The Insurgents MC series are standalone romance novels. This is Jerry and Kylie’s love story. This book contains violence, sexual assault (not graphic), strong language, and steamy/graphic sexual scenes. It describes the life and actions of an outlaw motorcycle club. If any of these issues offend you, please do not read the book. HEA. No cliffhangers! The book is intended for readers over the age of 18.

Prologue
Mid-March
Red Rocks University
Crested Peak, Colorado

He stood in the shadows behind the bush, staring intently at the window on the second floor. A glimpse of her made his heart race and he licked his lips, ripping off the dry skin with his front teeth. She was so damn beautiful. When he’d decided to seek her out, he had no idea how pretty and innocent she was. Since she was the daughter of the president of the Insurgents MC, he’d figured she’d look tough and used-up. But she was a lovely angel with blonde hair that touched the top of her ass, rounded tits that would fit perfectly in his hands, and large blue eyes that sparkled with innocence.

He inhaled sharply. Seeing her had changed his plans somewhat. Watching her come and
go for the past several weeks, he’d grown attached to her. As crazy at it sounded, he wanted to get to know her, become a part of her world.

“Mary, come on up. Taylor and I aren’t ready yet!” Kylie yelled out her dorm window,
her hair framing her face.

The girl she’d yelled out to bounced up the flight of concrete stairs then entered the three story Gothic-style building. It had taken some time for him to find which dorm Kylie lived in.
The university had more than fifteen thousand students, but he’d persevered and he found her. She lived with a dark-haired roommate—Taylor—in room number 222, on the second floor in the middle of the hall. A perfect location for him to watch her as she sat at her desk and studied, glanced down at her phone, or just stared out the window at the Rocky Mountains in the distance, a faraway look in her blue gaze.

The man had been driven to find her, hate and retribution fueling him on, but then he saw

her and his pants grew tight, and he knew his plan had changed. He buried himself further in the bush when the large wooden doors of the building opened and Kylie, Taylor, and Mary filed out, laughing and talking like young college students do. He breathed out when the trio passed by the greenery which hid him. The scent of vanilla, lavender, and patchouli lingered as they scurried down the brick path. Not knowing which one belonged to his Kylie—he’d started thinking of her as his—the young man made a note to find out which aroma was hers.

Slipping out from his hiding place, the man shoved his hands in his pockets, keeping his
distance as he followed the young women. Each time Kylie’s hips swayed, his dick twitched
more, and he willed himself to focus on the goal of his plan.

A broad-shouldered young man approached the girls. “Hey, Ricky.” The slight breeze

carried Kylie’s sweet voice.

“Hey. What’re you guys up to?” he asked.

“We’re going to grab a burger at University Café, then check out the show for Thursday
Thrills.” Kylie moved closer to Ricky. Her stalker growled when he saw her arm rub against the college boy.

“There’s a hypnotist. Everyone’s raving about him. Want to join us?” Mary asked.

He watched as the three women flirted and fawned over Ricky, who kept staring at Kylie
in a way that made his blood boil. Note to self—Ricky’s fucking history!

“Sure, why not?” Ricky looped his arm with Kylie’s, and the four students ambled
toward the café.

Wrapping his leather jacket tighter around him, he leaned against the wall of the Student
Center. He’d wait—he had to. The man wanted to make sure Ricky fuckface didn’t spend the night with Kylie. She was his, and no one would take her away from him. Just thinking about running his hands through her silky hair, and touching her skin—he imagined it would be soft as velvet—made his dick jab hard against his jeans. It wasn’t time yet, but soon, he’d have her legs wrapped around his waist as he plunged his hardness into her tight heat. Their fucking would be sweet and nasty, and she’d cry out his name as she came all over his cock.

Then he’d hurt her real bad. Maybe even cut her delicate throat.

He had to.

Retribution sucked sometimes.

Chiah Wilder is the author of Hawk’s Property, the first book in the Insurgents MC Series. It is a full length, standalone novel. Its release date is set for October 27, 2015.

Always a lover of books, she began writing at a young age and continued through college with collections of short stories. Figuring she had to grow up and get a “real” job, her writing was placed on the back burner.

Her love of reading has always be center front in her life. Chiah’s love of bad boys both in and out of fiction has inspired her Insurgents series. She loves an alpha male whose softer side is brought out by a passionate, spirited woman. In fiction there are no rules or boundaries, and fantasies can go as far as the characters want to take them. Steamy, biker romances with rough, sexy bad boys are her guilty pleasure along with brownies, cheddar cheese, and movie marathons.

Returning to writing has been a dream come true. Writing and publishing Hawk’s Property has been an amazing journey, and she is happy to share the Insurgents family with her readers. She is busy writing her next book in the series.

Title: Promised Nights
Series: Nights #2
Author: Louise Bay
Genre: Contemporary Romance

I’ve been in love with Luke Daniels since, well, forever. As his sister's best friend, I’ve spent over a decade living in the friend zone, watching from the sidelines hoping he would notice me, pick me, love me.

I want the fairy tale and Luke is my Prince Charming. He’s tall, with shoulders so wide he blocks out the sun. He's kind with a smile so dazzling he makes me forget everything that’s wrong in the world. And he's only man that can make me laugh until my cheeks hurt and my stomach cramps.

But he’ll never be mine.

So I’ve decided to get on with my life and find the next best thing.

Until a Wonder Woman costume, a bottle of tequila and a game of truth or dare happened.

Then Luke's licking salt from my wrist and telling me I’m beautiful.

Then he’s peeling off my clothes and pressing his lips all over my body.

Then what? Is this the start of my happily ever after or the beginning of a tragedy?

Previously released as "Calling Me: The Complete Series"

Review
This is the second book in the Nights series but each can be read as a standalone.
Ash is Haven’s best friend and has been in love with her brother Luke for over fifteen years. But Luke has always only seen her as his sister’s best friend and his in recent years. He finds he can talk to Ash about anything and she is the first one he calls when he needs support. Ash finally comes to a decision that she needs to move on as she will never by anything but in the friend zone with Luke. Although she finds this hard to accept she makes steps to date other guys.

Luke has been living with his girlfriend Emma for a couple of years but when she gives him an ultimatum, this spurs him to dig deep and consider what he wants in his life and realises that life without Emma would be no hardship. Ever since the death of his parents he has always been loath to change, he doesn’t want to rock the boat and is happy to go along with what everyone else needs to keep them happy. But after some advice from his brother in law, Jake he takes steps to move on. When he needs to attend an awards do he turns to who he always turns to in need, Ash. But that night reveals something he wasn’t aware he was looking for but it is as if his eyes have been finally open to what was in front of him all the time. Ash, his Ashleigh.

This was a sweet tale of friends becoming lovers but there was lots and lots of angst and turbulence mainly brought on by Ash who at times had me swearing to the high heavens with her inability to see what she had always dreamt of was there for the taking. She just kept putting obstacles in the way due to her own insecurities. I could understand her backing off as if it didn’t work out with Luke then she could lose her ‘family’ of Haven and Luke.  However, once she realised she could not deny what she had with Luke, well that made for a happy sigh of contentment once all the angst was out of the way.

I really like this series and even though I have read it all backwards way around (book 3 then book 1 and finally onto this one, book 2) it was easy to fall into each love story. There was lots of passion and chemistry and I could really feel the connection between Ashleigh and Luke. The banter and camaraderie between them was hilarious at times but when they got the heat on, whoosh it was scorching.
Another great addition to the series and I would definitely recommend this one for sure. Four stars.

Excerpt

Here’s a taste of Luke and Callie…

I stand and move to him. His back muscles tense when I place my hand on his shoulder. “I want to get to know everything about you, Luke Hardy,” I say and he spins around to face me.

His eyes search mine. “You already know the important bits.”

“No, I don’t.” I rest my hand against his chest. “I don’t know the secrets you keep locked in here. They’re the important bits.”

His intake of breath is sharp and he wraps his hand around mine. His other hand slides around my waist and he pulls me close.

Oh, shit.

No.

Too close.

But his lips brush across mine before I can move out of his embrace. His hold is tight and his message is very clear—he’s in charge here and if a kiss is what he wants, a kiss is what he will have.

He surprises me, though, and angles his face away from mine. Still keeping hold of me, he says, “I know we’re doing the friends-only thing for awhile, but a man’s got needs, Callie. If you put your hands on me, you better be prepared for the consequence of that.”

I’m pretty sure my eyes almost pop out of my head. I knew Luke was bossy—oh, boy did I know—but this is a whole new level of bossy. His deep voice vibrates along my skin, scattering goose bumps, while his eyes penetrate my soul. Those intense, green eyes of his will do it to me every time. They’ll cause me to forget everything I’ve ever said or thought and just cling to him for the ride.

He dips his face again and his mouth finds mine. The moment our lips connect sparks of desire burn through me. I’m so damn hot for him and I can’t control myself. I push my body hard against his and open my mouth to him.

He tastes like whiskey and I make a note to buy some just so I can remember this moment forever. I’ve never loved whiskey before, but it may just be my new favourite drink.

This kiss will forever live in my mind. Luke doesn’t simply kiss—he possesses. He takes me mind, body and soul.

In this kiss I find hope.

Hope that he will fight for me.

For the us we both want.

DEVASTATION

Moving back home wasn't anything I ever wanted.

But after enduring the worst,

Going home was the only answer.

Being back is everything I thought it would be...

Awful, isolating, a constant reminder of what I lost.

And the last thing I need--or want--is more reminders of my past,

Especially Bryant Wood.

GUILT

That's all I feel--all I can see when I look at Savannah Turner.

I want to hold her, feel her, love her,

And thank her for what's she given me.

But I can't show her the gratitude.

The relief.

The gift she's given me.

I won't.

It'll ruin everything.

A secret I must keep--a secret that could break her.

Shatter her.

Destroy her.

All over again.

Too young to do anything on her own, the only alternative she has now is to take Kid up on his offer to stay at the MC Clubhouse. Resisting his attraction for a girl he’s not even certain is of legal age was easy, until he’s forced to intervene when her intentions become clear. All his training is wasted as far as he’s concerned, since none of that will help him when it comes to Khloe.

Will the self-proclaimed man-whore sleep with a woman in every country he visits as planned, or will the beautiful, yet feisty girl living down the hall throw a wrench in his plan?

EXCERPT
I take in every inch of him, noticing first his muscular arms and wide shoulders. I see part of a tattoo peeking out from the arm of his t-shirt. The tiny hint makes me want to see it all. I’ve always been partial to inked bodies, loving how a story can be told in ink rather than words.

His dark, brown beard is ridiculously neat, trimmed to perfection. It surrounds pouty, kissable lips. I can’t help but wonder if he has chest hair. I’ve always been attracted to very masculine men. I realize how much of a freak I am, staring at this stranger, itching to see the rest of his tattoos and wondering what he’d look like naked, how my fingers would feel caressing his skin.

Soothing brown eyes look back at me, almost pleading with me to change my views of the world. His hair is longer on top than on the sides, tousled and messy as if he’s been running his hands through it for hours. Sexy, this man is incredibly sexy. He has an edge of danger to him, but at the same time, he seems completely approachable. He’s a wash of contradictions.

“I’m sorry about your fiancé,” he says reaching his hand out to take mine.

I pull away immediately, unable to hide the quiver in my lip at the mention of Alec.

“Don’t,” I say unsure of what the word is in reference to. Don’t touch me. Don’t mention the death of my best friend. Don’t walk out of here and leave me alone.

A few minutes of peace are all I’ve gotten since Alec’s death. A handful of times over the last couple of weeks my mind would shut down, and I forget, briefly, just how much I’ve lost. I got that reprieve looking at Kid until he ruined it by opening his mouth.

Why do people always feel the need to speak? Why verbalize the pain others are feeling? Sometimes just sitting, being available if needed is the best thing you can do.

“He’s my best friend,” I say on a choked sob. I have no idea why I’m telling him this. I don’t know why I feel the need to ease the hurt I saw in his eyes when I pulled my hand away from his touch. “Was. I lost my best friend.”

“Yeah,” he says, his voice full of sorrow. “I know what that feels like.”

I pull my eyes from looking at my own hands and look back at him. For the first time, I notice dog tags hanging around his neck. Small pieces of metal, unassuming for the most part, but I know they tell a story. Every soldier who wears them has one. It seems in a time of war, those stories get harder to tell.

Kid is young. I know he’s older than me. Even with an unmarred face and bright young eyes, he’s got an air about him that lets you know he’s seen more than most. He’s suffered more than most.

I immediately feel some sort of kindred-ship with him. I begin to shut the little part of myself down that he somehow forced me to open. He’s so young; there’s a good chance he’s still a soldier, and there’s no guarantee that any of them are safe. It’s best to just keep every one of them at a distance.

“You’re in the Army?” I finally manage to ask, angling my head at the tags around his neck.

I watch as he reaches his hand up and touches them as if he’s worn them so long he’s forgotten that they’re even there.

“I was in the Marines,” he answers quickly. “I’ve been out for a couple years now.”

“How old are you?” Was a soldier? No longer in the service? He doesn’t look old enough.

“Twenty-four.”

Six years older than me. I shake my head, knowing he sees nothing but a child sitting here in this bed. Not that I expect anything different, but I’m tired of being viewed as a child.
