Dylan Reeves is a happily married family man but he is
keeping a secret, a life changing secret should it ever be known. Only one
other person knows his secret and that is his wife, but then she is keeping a
secret of her own.
His social media creation, Secret, brings him to a buy out
from Wilder Nation and to the attention of the CEO, Tristan Wilder. At their
first meeting of negotiations there is an instant spark but Dylan cannot act on
that, because being so deep in the closet he can never give in to his
attraction to another man. Not yet. But then sometimes the attraction between
two people that is meant to be cannot be denied and more so when a man like
Tristan sets his focus on getting his every desire that he sees in Dylan.
There has been a lot of hoopla around cheating in this book and
I want to assure new readers that no cheating in the true sense of the word
happens. The Reeves have a very unconventional marriage, that all though full
of love and understanding and utter devotion to their children, there is
another twist to their relationship. It is easily relayed in the first chapter
of the book to get it out of the way so you can enjoy the lust and passion to
come in the following storyline.
I loved the simplicity of the storyline, in that two sexy
geeky (well they are both into computers!) but very handsome men easily
identify their attraction for one another, one extremely extrovert and
confident in his sexuality and the other wanting to be the same. There was no
need for any additional dramatic sub story as the drama was all in the romance
build up.
I really felt for Dylan in that he was surrounded by the
love and unity of his family but his inner self was lonely and lost without the
kind of love he was yearning for. It took a man like Tristan to show him that
he was within reach of attaining all that he was wanting and that he would be
there waiting to give him all that.
The initial build up was gradual and gently took the reader
through some tense and anxious times but this was all worth it for the sexy
times and the emotive sparing between the two men. Kindle Alexander has again
given two highly lovable and enticing men for the reader to fall in love with
and be there routing for them to get to that welcomed HEA.
Another delightfully passionate but sweet romance from
Kindle Alexander and a definite one-click I recommend.

I live in the suburbs of Dallas where it's true, the only thing bigger than an over active imagination, may be women's hair!
Usually, I try for funny. Humor is a major part of my life - I love to laugh, and it seems to be the thing I do in most situations - regardless of the situation, but jokes are a tricky deal... I don't want to offend anyone and jokes tend to offend. So instead I'm going to tell you about Kindle.
I tragically lost my sixteen year old daughter to a drunk driver. She had just been at home, it was early in the night and I heard the accident happen. I'll never forget that moment. The sirens were immediate and something inside me just knew. I left my house, drove straight to the accident on nothing more than instinct. I got to be there when my little girl died - weirdly, I consider that a true gift from above. She didn't have to be alone.
That time in my life was terrible. It's everything you think it would be times about a billion. I love that kid. I loved being her mother and I loved watching her grow into this incredibly beautiful person, both inside and out. She was such a gift to me. To have it all ripped away so suddenly broke me.
Her name was Kindle. Honest to goodness - it was her name and she died a few weeks before Amazon released their brand new Kindle ereader. She had no idea it was coming out and she would have finally gotten her name on something! Try finding a ruler with the name Kindle on it.. It never happened.
Through the course of that crippling event I was lucky enough to begin to write with a dear friend in the fan fiction world of Facebook. She got me through those dark days with her unwavering support and friendship. There wasn't a time she wasn't there for me. Sometimes together and sometimes by myself, we built a world where Kindle lives and stands for peace, love and harmony. It's its own kind of support group. I know without question I wouldn't be here today without her.
