Release Tour and Review | Trapping Wasp (The Dead Presidents MC #3) by Harley Stone | #NEW #Review #MC #SingleMom #MustRead

Title: Trapping Wasp
Series: The Dead Presidents MC #3
Author: Harley Stone
Genre: MC Romance
Release Date: 13 August 2018

Andrew “Wasp” Marshall, VP of the Dead Presidents MC, rides life like it’s his bike, at full speed with no real destination. But when he sets his sights on an irresistible new bartender with a comical little kid, Wasp will have to decide if he’s willing to give up his carefree lifestyle and buckle down to become the man she needs.

Carly Cooper is a survivor. When an old friend turns from protective to possessive she packs up her five-year-old son and flees to Seattle, leaving everything and everyone she knows behind. Carly has neither time nor energy for Wasp’s advances, despite his panty-dropping smile and made-for-sin body.

As things between Wasp and Carly heat up, Carly’s past catches up to her and she must decide whether to trust Wasp and the Dead Presidents, or to pack up and run again.

This is the third book in the Dead Presidents MC series of which I am now fully hooked.

Carly Cooper and her young son Trent have moved to town recently to escape ‘the bad man’ and a devastating loss. Now Carly’s focus is providing for her son by working two jobs and keeping a roof over their heads. She ignores the looks she gets from Wasp in the bar she works at and his attempts to get her number. She knows he is a good man but she can’t take the risk of investing herself in a relationship.

Andrew ‘Wasp’ Marshall is the VP of The Dead Presidents MC and is all for saving wounded and struggling Vets and ex-servicemen who have lost their way. He also helps out at the local school with his band of brothers to give the kids valuable lessons in life. It is here where he meets funny but cute Trent. When Trent gets into trouble and his Mom comes to sort it out, Wasp is surprised to see it is Carly. Seeing how Wasp interacts with her son and the good influence he appears to have, Carly starts to see Wasp in a new light which doesn’t help her fight to keep him at arm’s length.

This was a really engaging read from the start and one of my favourites to date (Link is still my man though!) I loved the connection between Wasp and Carly but I adored the connection between Wasp and Trent too. This funny little guy just melted my heart so I was rooting for him to get his step dad!

There was a suspenseful part from the past that eventually caught up with Carly which for me was a little weak and actually wasn’t really needed in the storyline as the romance aspect was strong enough on its own. Overall though I loved this book with the relationship development between Wasp, Carly and Trent. It was so heart-warming (and sexy with the Wasp and Carly alone parts!)

Another fabulous addition to the series and a four star read for me.
