It started as a game. She was nothing but my pawn.
But I was quick to see the error in my ways, and now she is everything I never knew I needed.
The value of a woman like India Baptiste is beyond measure.
But the problem with being a man like me? I’ve already screwed this up, and there’s no guarantee India will take me on for one last bet.
I'll do whatever I have to do. Drop to my knees and offer her the only thing I have left. The one thing that’s only ever been hers—the heart of the devil.

Review
The final book in the Forge Trilogy, Heart of the Devil delivered the longed-for conclusion readers have been yearning for.
Indy and Jericho continue in their quest to remove all the threats to their lives after that huge cliff hanger at the end of the second book. It was good to get more of a background on them both and for things to fall into place.
These two continued to be scorching hot together but still challenging each other in more ways than one. From the outside you could see these two were made for each other but those pesky self-doubts and emotions kept getting in the way. Jericho had me screeching at my kindle for one too many of his stupid acts. How could he do that?
Just when you think all the questions had been answered and we were on the way to the HEA, a huge curveball was thrown in that was so unexpected it made me gasp. However, I didn’t think one of the perpetrators should have been included as it just seemed a little far fetched for that person to be involved (hard to say what I mean without giving the plot away though!)
Overall though a thrilling end to this rollercoaster of a ride across Europe, with a hot-headed passionate pair who so needed their lives together to find that peace that both yearned for. They finally made it. Definitely one hot trilogy I would recommend to binge read in one. Four stars.
